Debs and Luke chose Dunkeld House for their wedding venue, and it turned out to be the most beautiful day. They held their wedding ceremony outside in the stunning gardens which proves very popular for a Dunkeld House wedding. More on that later. I arrived in the morning for some preparations. Debs and the girls were getting their glam on, thanks to Samantha on hair and Katie on makeup, and they all looked incredible. Debs looked beautiful in her wedding dress from Bliss Studio Edinburgh and Gemma Sargent, whilst the boys were pretty much all ready to go when I first arrived. Very keen to get going and looked very dapper in their kilts from Kinloch Anderson Scotland. 🙂
Dunkeld House outdoor wedding ceremony
All of the guests, including Luke and his groomsmen, were waiting outside in this incredible setting for the outdoor wedding ceremony. The picturesque gardens of Dunkeld House provided a breathtaking backdrop and the Scottish weather certainly played it part.
As Debs and Luke walked back up the aisle, they were showered with lots of confetti and hugs from their friends and family. The joyful celebration continued with an outpouring of love and happiness in the beautiful gardens of Dunkeld House.
After some canapés and drinks, we made great use of the outdoor space available for the couple’s portraits. We started off down near the water, went for a little walk, and took in the incredible views before heading back up to the front of the house. You really are spoiled for choice here, and my plan, as always, is to not keep them away from their friends and family for too long. As the weather was so nice, I knew that as the day went on, the sun would get lower, and the light would become even prettier. I planned to take them back out for a few more photos after their speeches and dinner. More on that below.

It was now time for some speeches from Debs’ dad, Luke, and then his best man. I love this part of the day because it allows me to capture some of the best reactions from the top table, as well as from all of their guests.
After the speeches were done and everyone had enjoyed their meal, it was time for everyone to relax outside in the glorious weather while the band set up for the reception. The atmosphere was perfect, with guests mingling and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Dunkeld House.

My plan worked perfectly as the sun began to set, creating some incredible light, so we went back outside for some relaxed photos of them both. I can’t say enough just how relaxed this part of the day is for the couple. We go for a little walk, I find the beautiful light, and away we go. Ten minutes later, I get them both back to their friends and family. Perfect.
It was time for some epic ceilidh dancing, thanks to the wonderful “It’s No’ Reel,” who put on a tremendous performance for everyone. The guests danced into the wee small hours, making it a Dunkeld House Wedding to remember.
