Just received our beautiful box containing the USB with all our photos, and some high quality select prints from John today, after our wedding at The Cruin last month.

We are absolutely delighted! The quality of the photos is out of this world, we literally keep looking at them in amazement that the photos are actually of OUR wedding, the majority of the photos look like movie scenes!! Just epic and so so well done.

I was initially disappointed with the grey sky and rain showers on our big day, but John was reassuring that the photos would still look great and he was so right! They are so beautiful and atmospheric.

The wide variety of photos from start to finish is also so thorough, and John managed to capture every single moment effortlessly, even the moments I missed myself on the day! I especially love the ones he captured of everyone up on the dance floor towards the end of the night!

John himself is such a down to earth and genuine guy, he was so easy to get on with and understood my vision right away. On the day I’ve got to say I hardly even noticed him! He was like a ninja with that camera, snapping away from all angles whilst barely being seen by anyone!

I love how natural and un-staged the majority of our photos look, really capturing the raw moments! Our couples shoot was the only slightly staged part where John had loads of suggestions for us how to “pose” with each other whilst still looking so natural, really making us feel at ease the whole time!

There’s not a single photo I dislike, my only complaint is that I’m never going to be able to narrow them down to just 100 to fit in an album!! Thanks so much John for being well... just bloody awesome! What a talented guy!

"John recently captured our wedding at Pollok House - Glasgow.

Before the wedding he took the time to have a catch up with us and walk us through the day. He was so helpful and helped calm our nerves.

On the wedding day he showed his experience and was a pleasure to work with. He created such a fun environment from the morning shoot where he took candid photos that perfectly captured the moment. During the wedding he was on hand for all the important moments and we kept laughing throughout the day.

During the couples photoshoot he let us do what we were comfortable with and picked beautiful backdrops. For the rest of the night he captured the romantic to the fun pictures.

After the wedding he shared the pictures which we were over the moon with. His attention to detail and ability to capture the perfect moment made for some memorable photos.

John photographed our wedding at Oran Mor in August and we could not be happier! From the off he was upfront about all the details, so lovely to work with and gave us 100% confidence in what we wanted for our big day.

John photographed our wedding on 17th November and I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made! I knew I wanted John as soon as I saw his work from a previous wedding at our venues.

As we were getting married in the Highlands of Scotland, we wanted someone who also had a passion for capturing the landscapes as well as the wedding itself, and that is exactly what John has.

As soon as he arrived on the morning of the wedding, he was a breath of fresh air! So professional, so enthusiastic, so chatty, so easy to get on with and so easy to feel relaxed around.

I found John on Instagram and had never seen any wedding photos like it. Incorporating the natural landscape into the wedding shots is so unique and not a style of wedding photography I'd ever seen before.

So when we booked John for our Scottish wedding reception and discussed the possibility of bringing him over to Yosemite National Park for the wedding itself, we knew it was something we had to somehow manage to do.

John made the whole process so easy, never a hint of stress and we now have the best wedding pictures I've ever seen along with the incredible memories. Thank you so much for absolutely everything, John xx

John was fantastic from the start of the enquiry. John was very easy to get a hold of throughout the process, informative and had a pre-wedding meeting with us to put any worries we had at ease.

John listened to my ideas for the day, but also my camera-shy husbands reservations and found a way to keep my photo-daft self and shy husband extremely happy. John was very helpful on the day but also not intrusive whatsoever, John knew how important the pictures were to me and helped to make sure I got all the picture opportunities I had wanted, without removing us from the day or keeping us away from guests!

Johns photo style is both relaxed and warm but also creates pieces of art that I know I’ll appreciate for many years. John was also delighted to take pics of our dog which was an added bonus!

Our day ran on a bit and John stayed put to make sure we had all the shots from the day that we needed, and even stuck around to try and find me in the chaos of a hair change.
John also returned our photos to us in extremely quick time which was an exciting surprise and just shows how professional, efficient and helpful that he is.
