Kate and Jonny’s stunning Loch Lomond Golf Club Wedding a few weeks ago was nothing short of magical. The day began with Jonny and his groomsmen enjoying a round of golf at the prestigious private club, with breathtaking views over the banks of Loch Lomond. Meanwhile, Kate and her bridal party gathered at the elegant Rossdhu House for a morning of bridal prep. The talented Michaela from Michaela Sands Makeup and Beauty worked her magic, while Anna from Anna Chiesa Bridal styled Kate’s hair to perfection.

Kate and Jonny shared a heartfelt first look before their wedding ceremony, and it was truly special. Though originally planned for the jetty overlooking Loch Lomond, the unpredictable Scottish weather had other ideas. Instead, they had this on the grand steps of the stunning Rossdhu House. Kate looked breathtaking in her elegant Halfpenny London wedding dress, while Jonny was every bit the dashing groom in his traditional Scottish kilt. Together, they made a stunning couple, perfectly complementing the timeless beauty of their Loch Lomond setting.

Getting married at Loch Lomond Golf Club
Though the wedding ceremony was originally planned to take place in the stunning walled garden at Loch Lomond Golf Club, the weather had other plans. Instead, the ceremony was held inside the beautiful Rossdhu House, and it turned out to be just as magical. Kate, looking radiant, walked down the aisle with her father, while Jonny waited at the altar. As if on cue, the sun began to shine through the large glass windows, and the weather stayed perfect for the rest of the day—truly setting the tone for their unforgettable celebration.

After the ceremony, with the sun now shining, everyone made their way back outside for a joyful confetti throw. This was followed by drinks and canapés as Kate and Jonny mingled with their friends and family, savoring the special moments together. The relaxed atmosphere was perfect for capturing family group photos, creating beautiful memories with their loved ones against the stunning backdrop of Loch Lomond.
Before I whisked Kate and Jonny away for some couples portraits, Kate took a moment to share some heartfelt words with her friends and family. It was a touching gesture that perfectly captured the warmth and love of the day, setting a beautiful tone before we ventured off for their portraits amidst the stunning scenery.

We then went down to the jetty overlooking the serene Loch Lomond for some epic portraits of Kate and Jonny. The scenery was simply stunning, providing the perfect backdrop. Jonny, being the golf enthusiast he is, couldn’t resist the chance for some fun photos on the golf cart. You could tell he was thoroughly enjoying himself, riding back to Rossdhu House with a big smile on his face.

Wedding details, Address to a Haggis and speeches
The grand room that hosted the dinner and speeches deserves a special mention —it looked absolutely incredible, magnificently decorated by the staff at Loch Lomond Golf Club. The attention to detail was flawless, creating a breathtaking setting for the evening. Something I always do prior to the guests entering is spend 5 minutes photographing all the little details and touches that went into making this room look amazing. As the guests took their seats, Kate and Jonny made a memorable entrance to the timeless tunes of Bob Marley, a perfect choice given Jonny’s love for his music. Just look at how much they enjoyed that entrance—it set the perfect tone for the celebration to come! 🙂
Before the speeches, Jonny’s dad, a proud member of Loch Lomond Golf Club, performed the Address to a Haggis—a cherished Scottish tradition. For those unfamiliar, Address to a Haggis is a poem written in Scots by the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns in 1786, celebrating Scotland’s national dish, haggis. It was a special moment, steeped in culture, that added an extra touch of heritage to their beautiful day.

As the speeches wrapped up and the hall was being transformed for the evening’s dancing and festivities, we took the opportunity to slip outside for a few more photos of Kate and Jonny. Rossdhu House, now draped in candles, looked absolutely stunning under the night sky, creating an epic backdrop for these final portraits. It was the perfect way to capture the magic of their day as it transitioned into a night of celebration.

Wedding reception at Rossdhu House
The party officially kicked off with the energetic sounds of Riddemption, a Scottish reggae band that brought the perfect vibe to the evening. The music had everyone on their feet, busting out their best dance moves and keeping the dance floor alive all night long. It was a celebration full of joy, laughter, and non-stop fun!
