Harelaw Farm Wedding

Rebecca and Aniello had the most amazing Harelaw Farm Wedding, a brilliant countryside venue just outside Glasgow, tucked away near Fenwick and only a short drive from the M77. From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be a good one.

One of the main VIPs of the day was their dog, Arlo — and the brief was simple: include him in as many photos as possible. Safe to say, I was more than happy to oblige. I absolutely love when couples bring their dogs along to their wedding. It just makes the day feel even more personal and relaxed.

Before the ceremony, they both wrote personal vows to each other and took some quiet time to read them privately. It was such a lovely moment to capture. Just the two of them, taking it all in before everything officially began. Those little in-between moments are always some of my favourites — real emotion, no big audience, just genuine connection.

Getting married at Harelaw Farm

Their wedding ceremony took place inside The Byre at Harelaw Farm — such a brilliant space to say your vows. It has that perfect mix of rustic character and relaxed countryside charm. You can still feel the history of the building, but it’s been beautifully transformed into a warm, stylish space that feels intimate without being small.

Couple Portraits Around Harelaw Farm

After some family group photos, drinks, and canapés, we nipped outside for a few relaxed portraits — and of course, Arlo came along too. They were all complete naturals in front of the camera, which made my job very easy! It was such a fun, laid-back part of the day, just the three of them enjoying a quiet moment together before heading back in to celebrate with everyone.

Speeches inside the Haybarn

It was then time for speeches and evening dinner inside the Haybarn at Harelaw Farm. This is where the day really shifts into full celebration mode. The barn has such a great atmosphere — warm wooden beams, soft lighting overhead, and plenty of space for everyone to relax, eat, laugh, and properly enjoy themselves.

There’s a big open dancefloor, a stage ready for live music, and the bar keeping the drinks flowing all night. It has that perfect mix of rustic character and party energy, making it such a brilliant space for speeches filled with stories, laughter, and maybe the odd embarrassing moment or two.

Catching the Last of the Light at Harelaw Farm

The weather was just perfect, so we nipped back outside afterwards for five minutes to grab some fresh air and make the most of that incredible evening light. While we were out, we even took a little wander down to see the Highland cows — because if you’re getting married at Harelaw Farm, you have to, right? After that, it was straight back inside to kick off the dancing and properly celebrate the rest of the night.
