Lauren & Zariq’s Wedding at Kimpton Blythswood Square

Lauren and Zariq got married at Kimpton Blythswood Square in Glasgow.

Here’s a selection of my Kimpton Blythswood Square wedding photography from their day.

Morning prep at Kimpton Blythswood Square

Prep with the girls was at Kimpton Blythswood Square, so it was nice and easy keeping everything under the same roof.

Zariq and the boys also got ready at the hotel as well so it was great to be able to capture both preperations.

A quick look around the ceremony space

Before guests arrived, I had a quick look through the ceremony set-up.

There was also a welcome sign for Lauren and Zariq placed inside the hotel near the staircase.

Final preparations

The wedding ceremony at Kimpton Blythswood Square

Lauren and Zariq’s ceremony took place at Kimpton Blythswood Square at 1pm, and it was conducted by Gordon Bond.

Lauren walked down the aisle arm-in-arm with her Dad. I’m always looking for guests reactions during the ceremony too which is always great for the couple to look back on.

Confetti outside the hotel

After the ceremony, everyone gathered on the front steps of Kimpton Blythswood Square for confetti.

It was a quick, fun moment, and then we let everyone get back to chatting and congratulating them.

Family and group photos (kept straightforward)

With everyone together, we nipped across to the private gardens over the road for a few group photos.

Nothing dragged out — just kept it straightforward, then back to the celebrations.

Wedding photography at Kimpton Blythswood Square

After that, I grabbed Lauren and Zariq for a short wander around a few spots near the hotel, inside and out.

We kept it relaxed and didn’t take them away from their guests for long.

Drinks, room details, and the reception set-up

Back inside, I had a quick look at the reception space before it filled up.

There were some nice personal touches dotted around too, including an album embossed with “Zariq and Lauren” and their wedding date.

Speeches at Kimpton Blythswood Square

Speeches kicked off at 04:00 pm, before the meal.

Lauren spoke as well, which is always brilliant to see, and then everyone settled in for the rest of the afternoon.

The sun was out and it was the perfect time to nip back out for some epic portraits again, literally took us 5 mins to grab all of these images and these are some of my favs from the day.

Cake cutting and first dance

Lauren and Zariq cut their cake before the first dance.

Their first dance was at 07:30 pm, and the dancefloor got busy fast. Later on, Lauren even jumped behind the DJ set with headphones on for a few tracks. Epic
