Heather and Fraser celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Ubiquitous Chip in Glasgow’s West End, and what a day it was! This was the first wedding held there since the venue’s renovation—and it’s safe to say the place looks incredible. With its warm, atmospheric interiors and access to the iconic Ashton Lane, it’s the perfect setting for a relaxed, stylish Glasgow city wedding.
The day began with morning prep at home with Heather, her bridesmaids, and their adorable dog Jura before heading to the Ubiquitous Chip for their ceremony.

Ubiquitous Chip Wedding Ceremony
Their ceremony was beautifully conducted by Carol Smillie. After the “I dos,” everyone poured out onto Ashton Lane for a fantastic confetti moment before enjoying drinks and canapés inside while we captured some family photos.
Later, we took a wander back out with Heather, Fraser, and Jura for some gorgeous couple portraits around Ashton Lane’s cobbled streets —always one of my favourite spots for wedding photography in Glasgow.

Inside, the newly renovated restaurant looked brilliant, and I managed to sneak in some photos of the table setup before the speeches kicked off, something I always plan on doing.

The evening wrapped up perfectly with incredible live music from Diego Scotland, and we finished the night with some classic night-time shots on Ashton Lane that I absolutely love.
