Leonie and Matt had a very low-key, but truly beautiful House for an Art Lover wedding back in January. As a Glasgow wedding photographer, I absolutely love photographing weddings at this iconic venue — the architecture, the light, and the setting are always a dream to work with.
Because they were planning a smaller, more intimate day with no speeches or evening reception, they chose my 6-hour wedding photography package — ideal for relaxed celebrations like theirs.
Their ceremony took place in the stunning Music Room, which looked incredible even in winter light.

Laid-Back Wedding Vibes at House for an Art Lover
Although it was a cold day, we were lucky it stayed dry, so we went straight outside after the ceremony for a fun confetti shot. Then we took a wee wander through the grounds for some relaxed couples portraits before I got them back inside to mingle and enjoy the rest of their evening with family and friends.

Intimate Dinner Setting at This Glasgow Wedding Venue
Before heading off for the evening and leaving Leonie and Matt to enjoy the rest of their night with their guests, I grabbed a few shots of the stunning reception setup. The team at House for an Art Lover did an incredible job — the room looked absolutely amazing. It was a layout I hadn’t seen before at this venue, and it suited their intimate winter wedding perfectly. A real credit to the staff and a lovely way to round off such a relaxed and personal day.
