Yosemite Park Wedding Elopement
It’s not every day you get to photograph a very intimate wedding elopement at Yosemite national park. Helen + Mike gave me this opportunity and what an incredible experience it was. We had the beautiful ceremony at 7am with just a handful of close friends and family. It was like you stepped right into a postcard 🙂 We then went on a stroll through the national park and made use of such an amazing backdrop. I still pinch myself that I got to be part of this.

Helen + Mike wrote — I found John on Instagram and had never seen any wedding photos like it. Incorporating the natural landscape into the wedding shots is so unique and not a style of wedding photography I’d ever seen before. So when we booked John for our Scottish wedding reception and discussed the possibility of bringing him over to Yosemite National Park for the wedding itself, we knew it was something we had to somehow manage to do. John made the whole process so easy, never a hint of stress and we now have the best wedding pictures I’ve ever seen along with the incredible memories.
